Can you drive European cars in the U.S. ?

I want to buy a Yeti Skoda (made in the Czech Republic) and live in the U.S. but would be pointless if i couldn't drive it. Also, if you know of a place to test drive a Yeti Skoda it in illinois that would be much appreciated.
