Iwant to christen my children can they only have one set of god parents?

i would like to have my children christened but I only have one set of godparents in mind, this is on a serious note of people i would choose to have my children should the worse happen and theres only 1 family that could even come close to being suitable in my eyes, so my question is can i have them christened with only one set of god parents?
